Man, Woman Wanted For Stealing Purse At Suffolk County Macy's

Police investigators are attempting to locate a man and woman who allegedly stole a pocketbook from a Macy’s on Long Island last month.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the pair who stole a customer’s pocketbook from a Lake Grove store in December.

Suffolk County Police said that a customer left her purse at the Smith Haven Mall Macy’s at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3. A man allegedly stole the purse and concealed it under the coat of his female companion.

The pair then left the store with the purse, which contained cash and credit cards.

A reward has been offered for information that leads to the arrest of the two suspects. Anyone with information, or who recognizes the man or woman, has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS.
